Ninja Training Events

June 2-4, 2017 Boulder, Colorado

An-Shu Stephen K. Hayes is coming to Boulder for Yamabushi training and Silver Phurba
Silver phurba – white east buddha water power pacifies negative situations for relief. Maybe you find some toxic condition you want to relieve – Too much debt, excess body weight or not enough weight, unsafe car, co-workers or friends who bring you down, poor health, too much stress, overworked, depression, etc. – something to purge in order to purify your life. You are caught in a place of lack, like a hole in the ground and you need to get back up to level ground to get going. Or you are in a place of restriction, like a cell or a cage and you need to break free to open space to get going.
For information, see Boulder Quest Center

IBDA Shidoshi Master Council will host this years 28th annual Tai Kai event!
Shihan Roman Marquez did such a wonderful job last year that everyone voted to do it again in Reno, NV so we could expand on the gun range combat shooting portion. We are sure that this year will be just as stellar, if not more! But it will be even better if you are there!!

Ninja Self Defense   with Grandmaster Stephen K. Hayes

ninja masters
24/7 training. Years ago we wouldn’t even have considered putting in a link to online training, but Grandmaster Stephen K. Hayes is simply the best in the world at online training. He and his team are so far above the rest in online training that it is a testimony to Grandmaster Hayes’ genius. Here’s how he describes his courses:

“Authentic ninja training that provides uniquely practical self-defense. With three training packages available, you’re able to tailor your training experience to help you learn the exact material you’re looking for. Achieve mind & body mastery and master modern and historic weapons. Worried you’ll miss something? Upgrade anytime.”

And one look at www.ninjadefense.com proves the case.

Ninja Training by Grandmaster Robert Law

ninja all tied up

June 12th- 14th 2015

We were notified that there will be a Ninja Training Summit on the 12-14th in Lexington, VA.  This will be from the Geiijin family of ninja arts.  For more information, you can go to Ninja Summit for the details.  We’re always happen to announce and support ninja training by serious practitioners, and feel free to contact us with information your group’s activities.  Here’s what the folks hosting this event had to say about what will go on there:

Our camp is not based on advertisement or gimmicks… the techniques will be the proof!!

We welcome you to see for yourself and experience a true “hands on” training camp… no routines, not made up of shows & demonstrations… very intensive hours… constant training, and learning. The purpose of this camp is to introduce the public to a more in-depth experience of the art of Ninjutsu. We feel that the public cannot differentiate Ninjutsu from some of the other martial systems, particularly jujutsu and other Japanese arts. Currently the best way to demystify the public about the art is to let them experience it without watering it down, as has often been done.We will provide training in a wide variety of systems, all of which are true Ninja arts and done using methods exclusive to the Ninja. There are no other martial arts represented here. No previous martial arts experience is needed. The techniques are for modern situations; we will not strongly emphasize history and tradition. We will show some traditional tools and how everyday tools can be applied using ancient techniques.

We hope that participants will train enthusiastically but at their own pace. Age and sex are no obstacle to training as the techniques require no strength. Those aged 16 to 18 must have their guardian’s consent. There will be at several hours of intense training a day including night training so that you get your money’s worth of good hands-on training.

You can expect to see some of the following and much more: Taijutsu (empty hand techniques, roles, evasive movements, throws, joint locks, strikes, escape from holds, pins, ground-fighting and much more), staff techniques with a variety of staff-related tools (e.g., canes, yawara, naginata), flexible tools such as manriki, shoge, Hojo rope binding, etc. Techniques against firearms and blades such as knives and swords. Strategies against multiple attackers, anti-rape and abduction techniques and defense in public situations (e.g. in your car, a restaurant, or office), stealth and invisibility.

There are not any katas, sparring, or competition; these are not part of Ninjutsu. All techniques are taught by the internationally known 119th Grandmaster Robert Law, the head of a number of Ninjutsu schools, who was raised in the art. You will know from the technique that this is real. Reputations are made or broken on the basis of competence and skills, not on claims alone. You want more information about the school? Well, you will just have to sign up and see! Many of you who are returning already understand. We believe that excessive publicity before anyone has had a chance to witness the art will cheapen our image and we are not yet fully public. The privacy of those who attend will be respected.
